Magnesium-based Energy Materials

Researchers academic leader: Xiaoqing Zeng

 

The research field of Magnesium-based Energy Materials  is mainly aiming at developing  novel energy materials and their preparing technologies by designing  novel magnesium hydrogen storage material and anode materials using first principle computation method, carrying out crystal structure characterization using XRD, Neutron, Synchrotron radiation and TEM etc., developing  magnesium-containing  nanometer powder using high energy ball milling, metal gas reaction and  ractive magnetron sputtering methods. Following research fields are involved: Material design using density function theory; Preparing and characterization of  nanometer magnesium materials; Development of novel magnesium based anode materials.
